The process engine license has not been enabled or is invalid

Symptoms

After installing the Process Builder/Forms Builder and installed the Forms Builder docapp. You tried to login to Documentum Process builder and you receive error as below

The process engine license has not been enabled or is invalid in the 'xxx' repository. The process engine license must be enabled to use the Process Builder

Cause

The error does not clearly indicate what is the root cause of the problem. The Process Engine license is installed along with Process Engine Docapp.

Resolution

In D6 Process Builder, Process Engine is only installed and licensed via a separate docapp.

Install the Process Engine Docapp.

Note:

Process Builders' docapp is a separate product named as "Process Engine". You'll find it in Documentum Download Center product list.
